Question. Dallas TX - My boyfriend and I live together. He cleans carpets. He watched some stupid movie a few months ago and he got this idea that he could become a super hero. He’s not smart or even handsome but his rich dad owns a bunch of funeral homes so I love him a lot. He goes out at night wearing a suit I sewed together and calls himself the Green Revenger. The first few nights went pretty good. He was attached by a bull dog when he tried to keep it from eating a kitten, and an old lady called him a pervert and hit him with ten pound sack of potatoes. But lately he’s been coming home smelling like whiskey and there are alcohol stains on the suit. He says he’s helping drunks get home after the bars close, but I don’t know. He staggers a bit. How do I get the alcohol stains off his suit?
Answer - One expert recommends dabbing the stain with a solution of clear dishwashing soap and warm water, or a stronger solution of white vinegar and water if the dishwashing soap doesn’t work. Keep working it until the stain disappears then rinse it.
- 1 cup of solution - 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and the rest warm water
- 1 cup of solution - 1/3 vinegar and the rest water
