Carpet Cleaners Phoenix
Question. Phoenix, AZ - As an alleged science fair project our son Dennis hooked one of the those little nozzles you use to blow up basketballs to his dad’s air compressor, pulled the hose into the house and stuck it into the end of one of those yellow squeeze bottles of mustard. The damage is almost beyond comprehension. Mustard is pretty much everywhere in our family room, even under the chairs. His dad is still chasing him. They headed west down the road and haven’t return. In the meantime how do I clean all this mustard?
Answer. Well, the experts say that mustard can be a tough stain to deal with. Scrape all you can off your carpeting. Then blot it up with a solution of detergent and warm water (about a quarter teaspoon of detergent to each half cup of water – and be sure and use dishwashing detergent, not laundry detergent). You might also try a vinegar and water solution if that doesn’t get the stain out. As always, the experts say to test it in an area that is not visible to make sure you don’t cause more problems than you cure. Of course, you could also call a carpet cleaner and let them work with it.
