Question. San Diego, CA - My grandpa is a hero here in our San Diego suburb. He was an excellent high school basketball player who was famous for his rebounding and his dribbling. Answer. Oddly enough, the experts have a lot more to say about pet urine than grandpa urine. One recommendation is blot up as much as you can with towels or rags, then wash it out with a solution of dishwashing detergent and warm water. After you soak that up use a vinegar and water solution (about 1/3 vinegar) to clean it again. Then use towels or rags to soak up the wet area and let it dry. Then give grandpa a hug!
