GUTTER CLEANING CHICAGO
Question. Chicago, IL - Neighborhood kids pulled all the guttering off our house. That’s not so bad because it needed cleaned. We’ll clean the guttering and put it back up ourselves. But that’s just the beginning. While supposedly being carefully watched by our babysitter, who it turns out was inside the house playing Indiana Jones Legos on the Playstation, our 5-year old son plus four or five other little neighborhood hoodlums also drew a mural on the outside of our house. It is supposedly a picture of the planet Chewbacca grew up on. Chewbacca was the Wookiee in case that’s important. It just looks like a bunch of trees drawn on our white vinyl siding with a bit of animal hair hanging from some of the branches. They went through several boxes of crayons before finally falling asleep at the scene of the crime. Now we got to get the Crayon drawing off our vinyl siding and replace the guttering.
Answer. Did you know there is a Vinyl Siding Institute? What will they think of next? I visited their website which has quite a list of stains and recommended cleaners–although they also say they don’t endorse or warrant products. Anyway they mentioned something called Lestoil® as a possible way to get the crayon artwork off of the vinyl.
