Janitor Los Angeles
Question. Los Angeles, CA - We live outside the city. My husband Jimmy was elected president of the local chapter of Farmers Against Progress this year and they meet in our carpeted family room. They are a really nice bunch of fellows but they track mud all over the carpet. Our housekeeper refuses to touch that cleaning job. How can I get that carpet clean? I told them if our house is going to become a meeting hall they need to hire an LA janitorial service.
Answer. Mud can be a challenge apparently. I have dozens of books and I could only find one or two that even mentioned cleaning mud. It must scare off some of the experts as well as your Los Angeles housekeeper. One expert recommends covering mud with backing soda or perhaps salt. Then after it’s all dry use a vacuum to pull the dried dirt out. After that you’ll need a carpet spotter of some kind to finish up the job. If you are dealing with that red dirt mud you might need to utilize a commercial rust remover as well. Not sure if you have red dirt in California. How about seeing if the guys would mind leaving their boots at the door or lay down some newspaper or one of those drop clothes that painters use? Farmers Against Progress?
