Maid Atlanta
Question. Atlanta, GA - We never hire a maid service before, but we recently hired Ralph and Fred’s House Cleaning & Maid Service from a little ad in the classified section. Ralph shows up at our door and he’s got nothing to clean with! He asked if we had any cleaning rags and if he could use our vacuum cleaner. He said he needed a bucket of water and asked if we had any old clothes so he wouldn’t get his dirty. My wife even had to go out and buy some detergent for the guy. We asked where Fred was and Ralph said that Fred backed out of the whole enterprise but it was too late to change the ad. Ralph ended up staying for dinner and drinking four of my beers and watching three reruns of M*A*S*H with us. The only good thing is when he left he forgot to charge us.
Answer. There didn’t seem to be a question there, but I think you may be asking how you can avoid getting such a low level of service in the future. The quick answer is to ask your friends who have used an Atlanta maid service for some recommendations. A good referral can save a lot of headaches. Also ask you cleaner for references. Just getting references isn’t enough, you have to check them out for yourself.
