Look It Up!

Maid Los Angeles

Question. Los Angeles, CA - I’m a house cleaner for this nice family just north of Los Angeles. They are all nice except for their 6 year old son who is a monster. When his parents aren’t looking he’ll hurl a chicken egg at me. Usually it is outside the house when I’m coming or leaving. A couple of times he threw several eggs at me from his upstairs bedroom window. His parents think it’s cute. I’d like to smash an egg onto the top of his pointy little head. I need to know how to clean egg off your clothes without damaging them. Those little cleaning uniforms are getting expensive!

Answer. Well the first trick is to avoid cooking the egg. In other words don’t use hot water or another hot liquid to clean it off. Try a little detergent solution. It that doesn’t work you might try a mild solution of ammonia and water or vinegar and water. Other experts recommend just using cool water. Soak the clothing until the egg is loosened up and then rinse. If this is a re-occurring problem, consider buying a catcher’s mitt or tennis racket.
