Look It Up!

Maid San Diego

Question. San Diego, CA - Professor, I think I need to hire a maid. My wife retired recently and she no longer will clean the house. She is 100% retired! Now I’m sneezing all the time and I think it’s from allergic reactions to all the dust in our house. Even our dog sneezes all the time. I never used to sneeze. My wife says that she read somewhere that it is normal for older men to sneeze three or four times each hour. But I’m only 37 years old. My wife is a cougar. Is she lying to me?

Answer.
Cleaning experts pretty clearly indicate that a clean home without a lot of dust and with low enough moisture and humidity to keep mold out, is important to avoid allergic reactions. Carpets and upholstery should be regularly vacuumed, filters in fans and other places should be routinely changed or cleaned, pets should be kept out of the area where you sleep, even mattresses should be vacuumed regularly. It sounds to me like a maid would be a good option. There nothing uglier than when a cougar goes bad on you. When it comes to maids, hire a young beautiful girl. It might make your cougar reconsider her “no more cleaning” decision.
