Look It Up!

Window Cleaning Houston

Question. Houston TX - Our office is on the 28th floor of a big building and we would like to have our windows cleaned more often. We think dirt is blowing in from Dallas and Austin. We just get so afraid when those window cleaners are out there. My question is: Do high-rise window cleaners wear parachutes? Could we make them wear parachutes as a condition of getting the job? What about hang gliders?

Answer. I couldn’t find out a thing about it. I can’t spend a month on a single question and I don’t call people. You might call a few window cleaners and ask them. But I did run across a couple of things for you to think about. One is that your window cleaning should be handled by your building management firm or owners. If you want extra cleaning service you might wish to talk it over with them. The other suggestion is to make certain any window cleaners are properly insured and trained in safety procedures. Also, I’ve never heard of window cleaners hiring ex-paratroopers.
